The Sport & Health Sciences Building is a new four storey, 4,000 square metre building for new teaching accommodation for the Universities Dental School, School of Health and Sports Therapy School.
A key partner in the scheme is the Strategic Health Authority which means the project will include two working dental surgeries for both University staff and students and the general public.
The new facility also includes specialist dental ‘phantom head’ laboratories, sports therapy plinths, technical sporting labs including a pressure plated running track and a hydrotherapy pool.
